Mission & Method

Megan Myers, MS, LPC is a licensed professional counselor who believes deeply in the power of resilience and the human capacity for change. She sees therapy as a collaborative journey, one where clients are supported in uncovering their own strengths rather than being “fixed.”

Drawing inspiration from Carl Rogers’ reminder that acceptance opens the door to growth, Megan offers a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore life’s challenges. She works with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and times of transition.

Her approach emphasizes trust, compassion, and empowerment. By helping clients access their inner resources and develop practical strategies, Megan equips them to navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.

Education

Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Metropolitan State University in 2012 and graduated with her Master of Science from Walden University in 2016.

Therapy

As a therapist, Megan is dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, tailoring her work to each client’s unique story and strengths. 

Expertise

Megan has extensive experience supporting clients through a wide range of challenges and life experiences. Her expertise includes grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, coping skills, and self-esteem, as well as relationship and peer difficulties. She also works with LBGTQ+ individuals and couples, clients navigating body positivity and health concerns, and veterans adjusting to life changes. 

Insurance & Payment

Typical Rates:

- Individual Therapy: $160/session

- Couples Therapy: $160/session

Megan can also provide superbills for private pay clients.
